COMMITTEE DUTIES
Program · Should attend steering committee meetings (1 or 2 per month).

· Also attend public meetings.

· Maintain and update speaker database (after verification during steering committee meeting).

· Present potential speakers to steering committee.

· Contact speaker(s) regarding availability.

· Get speaker talk title and brief overview (of speaker and topic).

· Notify publicity/webmaster of speaker and topic.

· Arrange for back-up speaker (one of steering committee or chairperson(s)?)

· Confirm speaker just prior (1 week) to presentation.

· Verify audio/video/PCs/whiteboards or other equipment needed will be available.

· Welcome and help speaker with set up, if needed.

· Present any feedback to speaker and thanks.

Education Create and maintain training plan for SASQAG.

Maintain training, certification, conference and seminar list on web.

Public Relations Create advertising and awareness proposals for the Steering Committee.

Responsible for mailings, postings, notices.

Sponsorship Create and maintain sponsorship policy.

Liaison between companies and SASQAG Steering Committee.

Volunteer Collect and maintain the volunteer list.

Collect tasks and select and contact helpers.

Meetings Responsible for meeting location, setup and cleanup, refreshments and RSVP.
Accounting Bookkeeping and financial planning as directed by the Steering Committee.
Liaison Coordinate and facilitate between SASQAG and other organizations.

Report to the Steering Committee. Collect and maintain user groups list for the web.

Membership Collect and maintain database.

· Collect the membership cards during meetings.

· Find out if they want their names on a membership networking list (with a brief description).

· Make name tags with company names and a sign up sheet (initials for CEU certification).

· Collect to name tags after the meeting.

· Communicate the attendee back to the auditors and steering committee .

· Notify media of upcoming meetings.

· Retention and recruitment program over time (companies).

· Maintain the membership databases

· Make mailing labels.

· Communication support

· Produce emails

Webmaster Maintain the network, scripts, layout, and backups/restores.

Maintain the addresses and links.

Web Content Maintain the information, content, and links as approved by the Steering Committee.

Collect and respond to incoming mail pertaining to the web site.

Historian Keeps archives of meeting and presentation materials.
